Windjammer Capital Investors is pleased to announce the promotion of Ryan Pertz to Managing Director. Ryan has been instrumental in supporting the growth and performance of numerous Windjammer portfolio companies as well as sourcing and executing new transaction activity.

Ryan joined Windjammer in 2013 and today has more than a decade of private equity experience in addition to his prior work in investment banking. His responsibilities at Windjammer include all elements of the investment process, including transaction sourcing, due diligence and execution, as well as portfolio company monitoring. Ryan currently serves on the board of directors of Compex Legal Services, Vital Records Control, Mission Critical Electronics, and Windjammer’s most recent platform investment, IPS Group. Ryan is based in Windjammer's Newport Beach, California office.

Prior to Windjammer, Ryan was an associate at HM Capital (fka Hicks Muse Tate & Furst), a Dallas-based private equity firm, and worked in investment banking in the Financial Sponsors Group at J.P. Morgan in New York City. Ryan received his BS in engineering from Duke University and his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
