Shop Curated Products from Local, Female and Minority-led Brands; 10% of Proceeds Go To Boston-based Non-Profit Family Reach

Grapevine Village, one of the world’s leading influencer marketing organizations, announced today the brands now available on Grapevine Shops, the consumer-facing e-commerce platform that is part of the Grapevine Village community. Global brands trust Grapevine Village to rapidly scale integrated digital marketing campaigns through the amplification of influencer content, paid advertising, social media, events, e-commerce, creative, and more. Now with Grapevine Shops, shoppers of all ages and interests will discover innovative and purpose-driven brands, most of which are led by female and minority founders, and are carefully curated by Grapevine Shops’ female co-founders Kristen Standish and Charity Richins. Grapevine Shops allows consumers to conveniently shop and support smaller emerging brands while also fulfilling a mission of Shops’ co-founders by giving back and building a trust economy – 10% of all proceeds from sales go to Family Reach, a national 501c3 non-profit that serves as a financial lifeline for families fighting cancer.

Since launching in late 2020, Grapevine Shops offers shoppers a wide variety of brands and products including James Beard award-winning chef and Food Network star Ming Tsai’s new product, MingsBings. In 2017, Chef Ming Tsai received the news that his wife Polly had been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. While they explored medical treatment options at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Polly also made the decision to become vegan. Disappointed by the variety and quality of the vegan options in stores, he recognized a new mission and MingsBings was born, a healthy and delicious veggie patty that could be prepared quickly and be eaten on the go. Family Reach is near and dear to Chef Ming Tsai and further strengthens the relationship between Chef and MingsBings, Family Reach, and Grapevine Shops.

Many other local and national epicurean favorites have partnered with Grapevine Shops to be part of their trust economy and grow their digital sales, like One Mighty Mill (Lynn, Mass.),which was founded by the former B.GOOD founders and healthy eating pioneers Jon Olinto and Tony Rosenfeld, proudly bring their healthy, fresh-milled flour and “wheat you can eat” back to the table in their products like bagels, pretzels, and tortillas; J’enwey Tea (Lowell, Mass.), a female-led company that for over a decade has provided rare Estate Loose Leaf Teas, inspiring the true 'Farm to Cup' experience, and is the featured tea at High Tea at One Dalton at the Four Seasons, Boston; Barry’s Hot Sauce (Cambridge, Mass.), an immigrant-owned company led by Barry Shannon that specializes in producing small batch, all natural and flavor forward hot sauces; Maitland Mountain Farm (Salem, Mass.), a farm led by Holly and Andy Varela that produces over 20 different pickled products, fermented offerings, and a selection of Salem-grown, seasonally available produce; Spice Alchemy (Hingham, Mass.), led by renowned chef Tony Ambrose who is dedicated to producing the highest quality, all natural (no synthetics, no flavor enhancing chemicals) spices available will be joining Shops this month; Boston Harbor Distillery (Dorchester, Mass.) and Founder Rhonda Kallman will soon offer their award-winning whiskeys, including the famed Putnam New England Whiskey; Flair Chocolatier (New York, NY), founded by Genie Kwon, who was named Esquire magazine’s 2017 “Pastry Chef of the Year” while at Chicago’s two-star Michelin restaurant Oriole, presents an unmatched selection of chocolate bars that are named after some of the world’s culinary capitals using exotic ingredients from around the world; and women-run, women-owned Verve Culture (Steamboat Springs, Colo.),which offers a marketplace for culinary and home goods from around the world.

For fashionistas and beauty enthusiasts, Grapevine Shops offers unique and luxurious products from female-owned Intoxicated Cosmetics (Boston, Mass.), which has built a venom-based skincare line because CEO and Founder Rachel Sommers believes that you should have options when it comes to your beauty and anti-aging routine, to Runway Hair (Dallas, Texas), a black female owned haircare company that opened its virtual doors in January 2020 and “puts every Black and Brown girl at the forefront” according to CEO Shameka Ethridge. Many more fashion, beauty/lifestyle, family, entertaining, and health and wellness brands are currently available on Grapevine Shops, with more coming soon in early 2021.

“We’ve found there is often a ‘why behind the buy’ for many conscientious consumers. Supporting small business and brands you believe in is arguably more important than ever. That combined with our passion for supporting small businesses as both the economic and social fabric of our local societies made the decision to start Grapevine Shops an easy one,” said Kristen Standish, CEO of Grapevine Village and co-founder of Grapevine Shops. “We’re looking forward to collaborating with many more brands on the local, national and even international level, especially now that e-commerce is everything for a lot of brands and consumers alike.”
