Syros Announces Proposed Offering of Common Stock

CAMBRIDGE, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Syros Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:SYRS), a leader in the development of medicines that control the expression of genes, announced today that it is offering to sell shares of its common stock in an underwritten public offering. The proceeds of the offering are expected to be used to fund the development of Syros’ ongoing clinical and preclinical programs, and for working capital and other general corporate purposes. All of the shares in the offering are to be sold by Syros. The offering is subject to market and other conditions, and there can be no assurance as to whether or when the offering may be completed or as to the actual size or terms of the offering. Syros also intends to grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares of common stock sold in the offering on the same terms and conditions.

Cowen and Piper Sandler & Co. are acting as joint book-running managers for the offering.
