MCB Real Estate Signs Four New Leases At The Can Company In Canton

The Can Company, a 205,865 square foot mixed-use project located at 2400 Boston Street in the Canton area of Baltimore City, is approaching 100% leased with the signing of four new tenants. The new uses will comprise of over 9,000 square feet of space and include a restaurant, barbershop, electronics repair store and a primary care medical office all of which are new to Baltimore City. The Property is owned by a joint venture between Baltimore based MCB Real Estate (MCB) and two New York based firms – Angelo Gordon and JMC Holdings, LLC.

HalfSmoke, a Washington D.C. based restaurant, signed a 4,000 square foot lease for their third location and second in Maryland. New to Baltimore City, HalfSmoke was established in 2016 and combines a unique foodservice restaurant, café, and gastro pub. The highly versatile restaurant features menu-driven details that encourage guests to continually engage with their culinary experience. HalfSmoke specializes in signature sausages, the location will also feature a full-service bar as well as an ice cream and milkshake station. “We are very excited to be a part of the Baltimore City community, and especially excited to be a part of such a wonderful neighborhood that is Canton,” stated Andre R. Based in Glen Burnie, MD, Kisner’s Salon & Barber offers a variety of hair services for men, women, and children. Kisner’s has been in existence since 2006 and has now signed a lease for their second location consisting of 1,300 square feet. Their new location is situated adjacent to Starbucks and &Pizza in the flagship building at the Can Company. “Over the last 15 years Kisner’s Salon & Barber has navigated the waves of change within the industry,” says Denny Kisner, Owner and Manager of Kisner’s Salon & Barber. “Through our close relationship with Redken and Summit Salon Business systems we have developed a model that meets the three stages of a licensed professional’s career journey. AllCare Family Medicine & Urgent Care, a versatile practice that provides a wide range of medical services to patients throughout the community, signed a lease for 2,275 square feet of space within the Can Company’s flagship building. From preventative care to weight management as well as urgent care services, the AllCare team has the education, experience, and expertise to work with patients from all backgrounds. The Can Company will be AllCare’s first location in Baltimore City, sixth in Maryland and seventeenth overall.
