Burns & Levinson has added four new associates – Anthony Kassas, Noelle Lussier, Nikolaus Schuttauf, and Kaitlin Spurling – to its team. Kassas has joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Group, Lussier and Schuttauf have joined the Private Client Group, and Spurling has joined the Business Law Group.
Kassas will focus his practice on helping startups and established companies develop and manage their patent portfolios. He received his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2020 and his B.S., with high distinction, in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 2017.
Lussier’s practice is focused on fiduciary litigation. While in law school, Lussier worked as a paralegal in the Private Client Group at Ropes & Gray. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2020 and her B.A. from Saint Anselm College in 2015.
Schuttauf is a trusts and estate attorney with eight years of experience. He received his J.D. from New England Law in 2012 and his B.A. from Stonehill College in 2009. He is admitted to practice in both Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Spurling’s practice is focused on M&A, private equity, venture capital, and securities and capital markets. While in law school, she worked as a paralegal for a firm representing emerging and early-stage companies. She received her J.D. from New England Law in 2020 and her B.A. from Harvard University in 2013.
