Proverb, a multidisciplinary branding agency in Boston, has won a 2020 MFE Award in the Best Marketing & Advertising category from Multifamily Executive’s 19th annual MFE Awards for their work on The Kelvin, according to CEO of the agency, Daren Bascome.
Proverb is honored for its work with Jair Lynch Real Estate on luxury apartments, The Kelvin in Washington, DC. According to Proverb Managing Partner / Director of Client Services Christine Needham, "Our client built a market-leading residential building directly across the street from Nationals Ballpark, with unreal views of the stadium. We wanted to make a place as lively and spirited as its Ballpark district but at the same time a place to call home. So how do you draw people to live in a place known for lively tailgates and jam-packed game days? The answer was simple: Don’t hide those aspects–– highlight them. We named our project The Kelvin, nodding to the symbolic “heating up” of the neighborhood, and used neon colors and bold messaging to create a vibe of energy and spirit. It’s not for everyone… but for the fierce, boldly different Millennial, The Kelvin is a home run.”
