In collaboration with analytics firm Statista, Forbes identified The Best Employers for Diversity through an independent survey of 60,000 U.S. employees working for companies employing more than 1,000 people in the United States. Pitney Bowes ranked in the first quartile of the 500 companies on the list.

Employees who took the survey gave their opinion on a series of statements surrounding topics of age, gender equality, ethnicity, disability, LGBTQ+ and general diversity concerning their employer. Diversity among top executives, evaluations from employees at other companies, positions responsible for diversity and communication of diverse company culture were also taken into consideration.
For nearly 100 years, Pitney Bowes has had a diverse culture of innovation. The company’s core value is that “we do the right thing the right way.” Currently, 43 percent of the Pitney Bowes U.S. workforce is women, and women comprise 40 percent of the Board of Directors. In addition, women-led businesses drive 40 percent of the company’s revenue.
