On September 10, Sherin and Lodgen hosted members of the Women’s Bar Association of Massachusetts’ (WBA) New Lawyers Committee and their guests for the group’s annual fall networking event, “Success from the Start: Strategies for Launching and Developing a Rewarding Career.”
The evening began with small group discussions where panelists and attendees shared their experiences in the field, providing them an opportunity to draw on each other’s knowledge and network with fellow professionals. The group then reconvened for a traditional panel discussion, moderated by Sarah E. A. Sousa, associate at Arrowood, LLP, and featuring Sarah Gagan, partner at Latham & Watkins LLP, Raquel Webster, senior counsel at National Grid, and Esme Caramello, faculty director at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau.
The WBA’s New Lawyers Committee is co-chaired by Jaclyn L. McNeely, an associate at Sherin and Lodgen, and Sarah E.A. Sousa, mentioned above. McNeely is a member of the firm’s employment department, and represents clients in a wide range of matters including wage and hour issues, wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and contract negotiation and enforcement.
