Barry Crimmins, owner/principal of The Law Offices of Barry R. Crimmins, P.C., has recently been reelected Chairman of the Stoughton Housing Authority.

In this role, he oversees the Board he has served on for over 20 years (not concurrently), having first been elected in 1989. Housing Authority Commissioners establish policies under which the Stoughton Housing Authority conducts its business, and ensures that those policies are followed by Housing Authority staff. The Stoughton Housing Authority oversees both state and federal subsidized housing, primarily for the elderly and non-elderly disabled population of the Stoughton community.

Attorney Crimmins operates a law firm with locations in three communities. The Stoughton office is the firm’s main headquarters. He also maintains offices in Falmouth and Hyannis. Areas of specialization include Estate Planning, Elder Law and Medicaid Planning, as well as Real Estate Law and Land Use Permitting. He said, “I am honored to serve as Chairman of the Stoughton Housing Authority and to serve my hometown on this important board.” He added, “My work in the area of elder services and real estate has always made this volunteer position a natural fit. We are all concerned about the availability of quality housing for our community’s elderly and disabled citizens.”
