Knotel Adds Four More Manhattan Locations Totaling 76,412 SF

Agile Workspace Provider Expands in Midtown South and Midtown East

Knotel, the premier agile workspace provider, announced today that it has completed four new leasing transactions totaling 76,412 square feet in Manhattan, further bolstering its presence in the city.

The most recent leasing activity continues Knotel’s extraordinary growth in the Midtown South submarket, where the company has completed 37 transactions totaling approximately 600,000 square feet over the last 12 months.

Knotel’s new locations include:

  • a 35,600 square-foot lease at the New School’s 36 West 14th Street property in Union Square. The new space includes the entire 2nd floor of the 180,000 square-foot office building, which is located between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Michael Morris and Greg DiGioia of Newmark Knight Frank represented Knotel in the transaction, while Jeff Roseman and Billy Cohen of Newmark Knight Frank represented ownership.
  • a 24,660 square-foot lease at AION Partners’ 11 East 44th Street, an 18-story 136,000 square-foot building located one block from Grand Central Station. The space encompasses the building’s 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 8th floors. Michael Morris and Greg DiGioia of Newmark Knight Frank represented Knotel in the transaction, while William Cohen and JD Cohen of Newmark Knight Frank represented the landlord.
  • a 10,722 square-foot lease at Skyway Development Group’s 30 West 21st Street, situated between Fifth and Sixth Avenues in the Flatiron District. Knotel will occupy the entire 4th and 7th floors of the building. Christel Engel of Colliers International represented the landlord in the transaction; there was no outside broker for Knotel.
  • a 5,430 square-foot lease at Condo Structure’s 22 West 21st Street in the Flatiron District. The space includes a portion of the building’s 3rd floor. Elie Reiss of Skylight Leasing represented Knotel in the transaction, while Jonathan Anapol and Chris Bellino of Prime Manhattan Realty represented building ownership.
