Karyopharm Therapeutics Announces Pricing of $150 Million of Convertible Senior Notes

NEWTON, Mass., Oct. 11, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Karyopharm Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq:KPTI), a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company, today announced the pricing of $150 million aggregate principal amount of its 3.00% convertible senior notes due 2025 (the “Notes”). The Notes will be sold in a private offering to qualified institutional buyers in reliance on Rule 144A under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended. Karyopharm also granted to the initial purchasers of the Notes a 13-day option to purchase up to an additional $22.5 million aggregate principal amount of the Notes. The offering is expected to close on or about October 16, 2018, subject to satisfaction of customary closing conditions.
