New England Wellness Solutions, a full-service family practice providing comprehensive healthcare services, recently celebrated the opening of their second location with a ribbon-cutting and open house at their location at 75 Finnell Drive.
More than 50 well-wishers, including representatives of the Massachusetts legislature, congratulated owner Jimmy Chung Duong and his team for their expansion to a second location and for their service to the region in the field of healthcare. New England Wellness received official proclamations from both the Massachusetts Senate and the Massachusetts House of Representatives on the occasion of the ribbon-cutting and second location, which were presented by Lou Rizzo, Chief of Staff for State Senator Patrick O’Connor, and Mary Jordan-Roy, Chief of Staff for the Committee on Steering, Policy, and Scheduling, representing Massachusetts State Representatives James Murphy and Ronald Mariano. Additionally, representatives from the South Shore Chamber of Commerce, including Tammie Heinrichs and Eric Dykeman, and Dennis Keohane, chairman of the Weymouth Chamber of Commerce, were on hand to congratulate the growing business, as were Steve and Sally Goldman, former owners of the W Spa.

New England Wellness Solutions (formerly known as Nutrapy) acquired The W Spa in Weymouth last month from the Goldmans, and it now operates under the name New England Wellness Solutions. The W Spa was first launched in 2014 by the owners of the Weymouth Club. There are 16 team members in the Weymouth practice, all of whom are remaining with New England Wellness Solutions.
Jimmy Chung Duong, owner and Chief Clinical Officer, thanked the group for attending. “It’s a pleasure to be able to welcome you all and to thank you for being part of this celebration.” He spoke about the two locations and mentioned their plans to expand the services in Weymouth to include the integration of Acupuncture and Eastern Asian medicine. The Weymouth location also offers massage, organic skin care, and medical spa services.
In addition to the Chamber and state officials, a number of other organizations were represented including the North River Business Alliance, Business Alliance Meeting, SSYP, and local BNI chapters.
