Calling all cooks! Wood Palace Kitchens, a premier cabinetry distributor representing select manufacturers and providing turn-key services for customers is presently conducting its 2nd Annual Recipe Contest and accepting entries now through August 31st.
This year the contest, which is free to enter and open to the public, will include four categories with the winner of each category to receive a $100 AMEX card:
- Appetizers/salads
- Entrees
- Desserts
- Specialty items (breakfast recipes/pizza/unique family dishes, etc.)
Entrants must adhere to the following criteria:
- You must at be 18 years old to enter
- Recipes must be original to you or your family; submissions cannot infringe on any copyright or the intellectual property of others – nothing from the Internet!
- You may enter as many recipes as you like
- Semi-finalists must be willing to prepare and present their original recipe at the WPK Recipe Contest Tasting Gala on September 13at the Wood Palace Kitchens showroom, 7 Mill Street in Middleboro
- No purchase is necessary to enter
All submissions must include the full recipe, all ingredients and thorough instructions, relayed via email or word document.
Semi-finalists will be contacted in early September in plenty of time to prepare for the September 13th Tasting Gala scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Semi-finalists will be required to bring their fully prepared recipe to the Gala, at which time attendees will cast votes for their favorite dishes. Contestants are encouraged to invite as many guests as they want – the more attendees, the more votes and the more exciting the competition!
A wine tasting will accompany the food contest; you must be 21 years of age or older to participate in the wine tasting.
