Awards $3,000 to senior Haillie Johnson

Direct Federal Credit Union, a federally chartered and insured credit union serving the financial needs of the region since 1953, is pleased to announce Haillie Johnson of Dedham High School as a recipient of the Direct Federal Values in Practice Scholarship Program. Johnson joins two other students within Norfolk County who have received $3,000 each as scholarship recipients.

The scholarship was presented at the Credit Union by Dave Walsh, Director of Community Relations. Johnson was presented a $3,000 scholarship.

Johnson will attend Curry College in the fall.

Walsh will look to extend Direct Federal’s relationships with schools in Norfolk County through an expanded scholarship program and the introduction of a financial literacy program.
