Arbella Insurance Group Honored as One of Boston Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” for Tenth Consecutive Year

Company recognized for cultivating positive and supportive work environment among employees

The Arbella Insurance Group today announced that it has been named one of the Boston Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work” for 2018 in the extra large business category, marking the tenthyear in a row the company has been selected. The award program honors businesses with high levels of employee satisfaction and positive workplace cultures.

The Arbella Insurance Group is a mutual insurance company that employs more than 1,000 workers in the state of Massachusetts and is affiliated with a network of approximately 500 independent insurance agents across New England. The Boston Business Journal’s annual “Best Places to Work” program recognizes 80 extra small, small, medium, large and extra large sized businesses whose benefits and unique initiatives put them ahead on the employee satisfaction curve. To select the winners, employees from Massachusetts-based companies participate in an anonymous survey that asks about company benefits, atmosphere, values and loyalty. The results are analyzed by a third-party research firm, and the winners are broken down into five categories based on size.

The 2018 “Best Places to Work” rankings will be released at a June 20 event at Symphony Hall in Boston.
