NFI Corp., the global leader in high-performing printed graphic solutions, today announced its collaboration with Boston Private, a leading wealth management, trust, and private banking company headquartered in Boston, in championing a leadership program that places an emphasis on balance between professional and personal priorities.

Throughout its 30+-year history, Boston Private has consistently taken a highly personalized approach to serving the complex financial needs of individuals, families, business owners, venture capital and private equity firms, nonprofits and community partners. Boston Private’s “Understanding the Why of Wealth” campaign focuses on its clients and their motivations behind why they work so hard. Each individual and company has a different “why of wealth”, and Boston Private prides itself on understanding why its clients’ wealth is important to them in the first place. For one of its first profiles to discuss the “why of the wealth,” Boston Private visited client NFI Corp. and filmed a discussion regarding this topic with Renaud Megard, president and CEO of NFI Corp.

The Boston Private microsite, thewhyofwealth.com, currently features the resulting video, in which Megard provides an account of the imbalance between his professional and personal life prior to acquiring NFI Corp. two years ago and the ways in which Boston Private has helped him achieve work/life balance.

Representatives of Boston Private also served as knowledgeable and supportive advisors when NFI Corp. expanded its business through the acquisition of Design Mark Industries last Fall. Boston Private also manages the company’s 401(k) plans and is a great supporter of small and mid-size businesses.

Recently, the relationship between NFI Corp. and Boston Private has expanded, with NFI supporting the banking firm’s Rotational Development Program (RDP), a dynamic and interactive experiential learning platform designed to provide emerging career professionals with opportunities to develop specialized knowledge and skill sets. Participants in Boston Private’s RDP have spent the day at NFI Corp. on two different occasions to learn more about the inner workings of a manufacturing company, and to bring that knowledge into their overall perspective.

“The holistic approach that Boston Private brings to organizations dovetails well with our company culture – the result is a great relationship that continues to grow stronger,” said Megard. “George Schwartz, President of Boston Private Bank and CEO of Boston Private Banking Group, and his remarkable team genuinely understand the challenges of managing and expanding a business. We are honored to serve as an example for them as well, and appreciate the opportunities to learn from each other.”
