American Tower (NYSE:AMT) is likely to take about 6,030 crore rupees -- some $900M -- in compensation from Tata Teleservices, which closed out some 30,000 tenancies after agreeing to sell its mobility business to Bharti Airtel, Economic Times says.
That compensation includes a 26% stake in Viom Networks (controlled by American Tower), valued at 4,500-5,000 crore (about $663M-$737M).
The rest would come in cash.
