On May 7, 2018, Elliott Management Corp. issued a press release containing a letter that was delivered to athenhealth (ATHN), which includes, among other things, a proposal to acquire the Issuer for $160 per share in cash.
Elliott Management also noted in the letter that it may be able to substantially improve the proposed price with additional, private diligence.
