CBA to Hold“Women in Commercial Brokerage” Event

The Commercial Brokers Association (CBA) will hold an event entitled “Women in Commercial Brokerage” on Wednesday, May 9, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.at 100 Northern Avenue in Boston. Part of CBA’s new Women in Commercial Real Estate initiative, it is the first in a series of events designed to build awareness of opportunities in commercial real estate for women and to support women who are already working in the industry. The event is part of a larger CBA diversity initiative and is open to both CBA members and non-members.

The event will include a presentation by Dune Thorne, a partner at Brown Advisory in Boston. An authority on issues regarding women’s equality in the work place, Ms. Thorne is the Founder and Board Co-Chair of Invest in Girls.

The speaking program will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed by a reception at 6:00 p.m.
