Direct Federal Credit Union has announced the availability $3,000 scholarships for a 2018 graduate of Dedham High School, a graduate of Franklin High School and a graduate of Norwood High School .

Additional information and applications are available at the individual High School Guidance Offices. The deadline for applications is April 23, 2018. Scholarship recipients will be selected based on personal essays that demonstrate the use of Direct Federal’s values of drive, integrity, resilience, engagement, competence and teamwork in their everyday lives.

“We are proud to offer $3,000 to a graduate of Dedham High School. Over the last couple of years we have received many great applications and we encourage all students at these schools to apply this year.” Said David Walsh, Director of Community Relations at Direct Federal Credit Union. “We are pleased to promote our values in the communities we serve.”

Walsh will look to extend Direct Federal’s relationship with schools in Norfolk County through an expanded scholarship program and the expansion of their financial literacy program.
