NFC Forum's Paula Hunter Wins Women in IT “Business Leader of the Year” Award

WAKEFIELD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The NFC Forum announced today that its Executive Director, Paula Hunter, won The Women in IT Awards in the Business Leader of the Year Award category. The Women in IT Awards is a leading technology award program, debuting in North America for the first time this year. It showcases the achievements and innovation of women in the technology industry and promotes diversity. Judges selected Hunter after examining the growth of the NFC Forum, the innovation it has brought to the market, and specific achievements and initiatives that she has accomplished during her time as executive director.

The event, organized by Information Age in partnership with Amazon Web Services, hosted over 500 leading women in the technology space and featured a keynote from Google’s COO, Diane Bryant. Out of a total of over 400 nominations, 16 winners were chosen on March 22, 2018 at Gotham Hall in New York City.
