BayCoast Bank today announced Andrea Pereira of Fall River, Massachusetts, as Assistant Treasurer/Branch Manager of the Bank’s Little Compton location.

In this role, Pereira oversees the day-to-day operations of the active Little Compton branch; she is accountable for maximizing branch revenues, sales and customer satisfaction, while overseeing all branch staff.

Pereira began her career with BayCoast Bank in 2000 (then known as Citizens Union Savings Bank) as a part-time Customer Service Associate, becoming full-time in 2002. Three years later she was promoted to Retail Sales and Service Representative, followed by another promotion to Customer Service Supervisor in 2006. In 2010 Pereira was named as Assistant Branch Manager, the capacity she served in prior to her most recent promotion to Assistant Treasurer/Branch Manager.

Pereira attended Bristol Community College and has completed several courses through the American Bankers Association.

She is a member of the YMCA SouthCoast-Fall River Board of Directors and is an active volunteer with the Maplewood Independent Youth Baseball League, the Blackstone Valley Youth Football & Cheerleading-Fall River Falcons, Junior Achievement and as a SMILES Mentor. Pereira also serves as a member of the Charlton Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
