Digital Experience Intelligence Leader Hires SaaS Veteran to Lead Sales, Boston Staffing Expansion to Meet Global Demand

Catchpoint™, a leading digital experience monitoring expert, today announced the hiring of software industry veteran Tim Blunt as its first Chief Revenue Officer, heading up the company’s growing global sales effort out of its Boston office (Copley Place). Reporting directly to CEO Mehdi Daoudi, Blunt will also lead local hiring efforts to support sales, customer success, partnerships and sales enablement. Catchpoint was selected one of Inc. Magazine’s “Best Workplaces” in 2017, and was also recently named one of the fastest-growing technology companies in North America with a Deloitte Technology Fast 500™ designation.

“I’m excited to join a rapidly growing company that provides SaaS solutions with proven business value to a large addressable market. What cinched the deal for me at Catchpoint was its people and impressive customer base,” comments Blunt. “Catchpoint’s team of professionals is empowered and dedicated to building highly differentiated products to ensure exceptional digital experiences and customer success.”

Blunt has over 25 years of experience in enterprise technology and software sales and a proven track record building successful sales teams. He was most recently an SVP of North America Sales at NICE Ltd., a provider of SaaS and on-premise enterprise software solutions. In his nine-year tenure at NICE, Blunt was integral in contributing to the company’s doubling annualized sales to $1.2 billion. Previously Blunt held leadership or sales positions at Verint, Concord Communications (acquired by CA), Broadvision and Oracle.

“The world’s most successful companies understand that delivering a great customer experience is essential to their business success. Delivering on that mandate requires a different approach to monitoring - one that’s purpose-built to provide an outside-in view of their customers’ digital experience,” says Mehdi Daoudi, CEO of Catchpoint. “We’re thrilled to have an experienced sales leader like Tim, someone who brings execution excellence and a proven track record, to help us scale that vision globally.”

Catchpoint’s digital performance analytics allow organizations to strengthen brands and enhance revenues by delivering exceptional user experiences. Catchpoint has the broadest geographic distribution of monitoring locations worldwide, analyzing the speed, availability and reliability of websites and other online services. By combining this information with advanced analytics, Catchpoint customers can quickly and accurately find and fix the source of problems, often before they become apparent to users.

“There’s a sea change Catchpoint is pioneering in its category that can best be described as customer-centric IT transformation,” adds Blunt. “As technology involves more moving parts, and where all businesses increasingly depend on third parties and other external factors, one can lose sight of how each element impacts the customer. Catchpoint, with its customer-first focus, is vigilant in not falling into this trap.”

Tim enjoys living in the Boston area with his wife and four children.
