The New England Employee Benefits Council Presents “Accelerate Your Career through Personal Branding and Marketing Yourself”

1/19/17

The New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC) presents “Accelerate Your Career through Personal Branding and Marketing Yourself,” a Women in Benefits Winter Networking Luncheon on Tuesday, February 14. The event will feature inspirational speaker and author Rita Balian Allen, President of Rita B. Allen Associates. Allen is the author of "Personal Branding and Marketing Yourself: The Three Ps Marketing Technique as a Guide to Career Empowerment” and was voted one of the top ten executive coaches by the Boston Women's Business Journal.

Personal branding and an individual’s ability to market themselves are essential ingredients of successful career management; however, many people are not comfortable talking about their successes. More importantly, many professionals are not prepared to package and discuss their talents and accomplishments – showcasing, leveraging and presenting their value internally within their organization and externally within their chosen fields and communities. Allen will explain how identifying, creating and articulating a "personal brand" empowers individuals to seize the opportunities they aspire to achieve, both personally and professionally, and will teach attendees how to create a framework to embrace and develop this core competency.

The February 14 lunch will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Boston College Club, 100 Federal Street, Boston with Registration starting at 11:30 am. Individual tickets are available and tables of eight can be purchased for $850. Event sponsorship, which includes a table of eight, is $1,350. Requests for a vegetarian lunch must be emailed to linda@neebc.org by Monday, February 6.

More information about the event is available at www.neebc.org. Register for the event here, call 781-684-8700 or contact admin@neebc.org.
