Improper Bostonian Turns to Digital Impulse For New Website

10/9/16

The venerable Improper Bostonian, Boston based media institution for local events, food and fashion as well as its dedication to coverage of entertainment and the ‘people and places that make Boston a world-class city’, has turned to Digital Impulse to create the publication’s new website, according to Jeff Mitchell, president and co-founder of the full-service digital marketing agency.

The Improper Bostonian website, previously handled by various firms on a project basis awarded the assignment after a quiet local review of agencies in the Boston area and billings were not disclosed.

Working with The Improper, Digital Impulse was tasked with taking the Improper.com website and turning into a proactive online tool that not only provided fresh engaging content, but also acted as a online resource for users to search and learn more about all the events in/around Boston. By including interactive tools and a mobile-first design, Digital Impulse helped build a website that is both engaging and intuitive and allow Improper a platform to continue to grow their web presence for years to come, according to Mitchell.

The new site, www.improper.com, launched this month.

The Improper Bostonian: Twenty-five years after it’s founding, The Improper has become a local institution that reaches a loyal audience of more than 550,000 readers. With 25 issues a year covering everything from food and fashion to arts and entertainment, we pride ourselves on highlighting the people and places that make Boston a world-class city.

Digital Impulse is a full service digital marketing agency, offering web design and development services as well as mobile and search marketing services to a variety of clients in both the B2B and B2C verticals. Their client base includes J.Jill, Arbella Insurance, SonoBello, Improper Bostonian and Stephanie’s Restaurant Group.
