BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Group announced Brian Murdy joined the firm as Managing Director, Head of Portfolio Management. In this role, he will oversee both the Portfolio Management and Portfolio Performance Reporting functions of the company.

Prior to returning to his investment advisory roots by joining Berkshire Group, Brian served as Senior Vice President/National Director of Investment Sales for Institutional Property Advisors (IPA), a division of Marcus & Millichap. Murdy has over 30 years of experience in the real estate investment industry, including 13 years at Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers, where he served as the inaugural portfolio manager for Cornerstone Patriot Fund, a diversified open-end property fund.
