CBIZ Tofias, part of the country’s 10th largest accounting provider, has expanded its high net worth individuals tax group with the additions of Stephen Ray, CPA, MST and Marc Lovell, JD, LLM, MS. Steve and Marc have joined the Boston office as Directors.

Steve is a Director in the Tax Group with over 30 years of public accounting experience with a diverse background, including tax compliance and consulting for corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals and trusts. Prior to joining CBIZ Tofias, Steve held senior level positions at Marcum LLP and KPMG. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Boston College and a Master of Science in Taxation from Bentley College.

Marc is a Director in the Tax Group with 15 years of experience with sophisticated estate, gift and tax planning, as well as international tax issues, including offshore asset disclosure and transfer pricing. Prior to joining CBIZ Tofias, Marc owned a private tax law practice since 2001. In addition, he was an Assistant Director of Tax Education and Outreach at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He received his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Windsor, Master of Science in Library and Information Science from the University of Illinois, and Doctor of Law and Master of Laws in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School.
