Scholar Athletes is a nonprofit organization founded by Suffolk Construction to support academic achievement through athletics and reduce the opportunity gap for urban high school students. This July, support this initiative by purchasing an array of white summer blossoms from Winston Flowers, the proud sponsor of the Charity in Bloom program. Winston Flowers will contribute 20% of the purchase price of this floral design to Scholar Athletes, helping more than 5,000 young people receive targeted academic support, SAT classes, college readiness programming, work with tutors from local colleges, and dozens of intramural sports programs. Scholar Athletes operates 21 zones – school based learning centers – in partnership with the Boston and Springfield Public Schools.
