ELO Digital Office announced today that it has expanded into the U.S. market with an office in Boston. The new office will support the enterprise content management (ECM) software producer as it continues to grow internationally.
The office is headed by President and CEO Szilvia Horvath, who was previously responsible for international operations at the ECM provider based in Stuttgart, Germany.
"The U.S. is an important growth market for us with enormous potential for new business," said Horvath. "As a hub for technology and innovation, particularly in the areas of healthcare and life sciences, Boston is an ideal location to base our U.S. operations."
ELO Digital Office Corporation already works with a number of Business Partners in the U.S., including two Massachusetts-based companies, B4 Consulting, Inc. (Waltham), Ovitas, Inc. (Burlington), and Misr Tech in Houston, Texas.
The company will host a free Speed Up Your Business event on Thursday, July 14, at the InterContinental Hotel, Boston, which will showcase its solutions for enterprise content management, focusing on the topics of electronic invoice processing, e-mail management, digital files and workflow processes. Attendees will learn how to optimize their business processes with ELO and have the opportunity to network at an Oktoberfest-style German barbecue overlooking Boston Harbor.
Horvath, who has been with ELO Digital Office for a decade, has an extensive background in sales and operations and was instrumental in helping the company break into the Eastern European market. Prior to joining ELO Digital Office, she worked in sales and operations at Newell Rubbermaid and Samsonite.
Horvath received a bachelor's degree in economics and diplomacy from the College of International Management and Business in Hungary, a master's degree in economics and international relations from Corvinus University of Budapest and an MBA in finance from Budapest University of Technology and Economics. She speaks six languages including English, German and Hungarian.
