Blue Hills Bank announced today the appointment of Jeffrey D. Morse as Vice President - Business Banking Team Leader.

A former vice president in Bank of America’s Boston office, Morse brings to Blue Hills more than a decade of banking experience. His history helping small businesses in Massachusetts with their finances have made him recognized as one of the top small business bankers in the country.

“In addition to being a great banker, Jeff knows about small businesses, what they want and what they need to succeed,” said Blue Hills Bank President and CEO William M. Parent. “We’re very excited to have him working with us.”

Before his new position at Blue Hills Bank, Morse’expertise at Bank of America, was specializing in small business loans. Managing more than 400 clients, Morse was ranked #1 out of all Small Business Bankers in the Greater Boston area for 2015 and was listed as the #9 Small Business Banker in the Country. Prior to Bank of America, he also served as a branch manager for Citibank and Citizens Bank.

Morse is an active supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, The Humane Society, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He resides in Ashland, Massachusetts.
