Mr. Hollatz’s wife, Christine, and son, Matthew, were present for both the ribbon-cutting and the dedication.

Comprehensive Benefit Administrators, a company that combines traditional brokerage services with specialty services such as advocacy, claims administration, officially celebrated its new location with a May 24 ribbon-cutting and open house celebration at its new home at 120 Longwater Drive, Norwell.

Norwell resident Michael McKenna, founder and CEO of the firm, said that the expansion was necessary because of company growth. Comprehensive Benefit Administrators had previously operated at 93 Longwater Circle, also in Norwell.

A number of local officials were on hand to congratulate McKenna and the firm on its new location and growth. State Representative David DeCoste (R-Norwell) told the crowd of 50 that it’s always good news for him and the district to see a business that is expanding and doing well.

His comments were echoed by Norwell Board of Selectman Chairman Jason Brown who, along with fellow selectman Ellen Allen, were present to convey the good wishes of the town to McKenna and his team on their expansion and success. Tom Kelly from the South Shore Chamber of Commerce also addressed the audience, mentioning Comprehensive Benefit Administrators’ longstanding relationship with the Chamber and the company’s commitment to growth in the region.

McKenna thanked everyone for attending and mentioned that the company’s new office space is now 6100 square feet, compared to 4,000 at their previous location. He said that, with their recent hirings and the acquisition of a firm, they are pleased to have the additional space.

Additionally, the company officially dedicated their new conference room as The Glen (Andy) Hollatz Conference room in memory of their company partner, Andy Hollatz, who passed away earlier this year. On hand for the ribbon-cutting and dedication were Christine and Matthew Hollatz, the wife and son of Andy Hollatz.

The firm has changed its organizational structure from acting solely as an insurance broker to expanding to a full benefits management firm. Today, CBA is three separate companies under the oversight of Comprehensive Benefit Administrators. These entities include their Partner Benefit Group division, specializing in medical, dental, life, disability and group health insurance brokerage; their Reimbursement Specialists, Inc. division, a third-party claims administrator for companies looking to save on their healthcare costs through creative healthcare funding options; and ComplianceSource, a division that advises and assists companies in becoming compliant with federal organizations.

Comprehensive Benefit Administrators’ claims administration businesses has grown by over 50% in the last 24 months, in part due to additional technology investments and teaming up with Marsh & McLennan Agency and other large firms. The company has also implemented a strategic business plan that calls for two additional acquisitions over the next three year and additional hiring.
