StretchMed Opens in Winchester

1/12/21

The newest health and wellness offering has opened in Winchester Center to help alleviate chronic pain, reduce stress, increase mobility, rejuvenate, and help you move well with 1-on-1 assisted stretching, according to Jennifer Brissette, owner of the new StretchMED® studio.

Brissette explains, “After months of quarantine inertia, people need stretching more than ever. Assisted stretching provides a person with a low-impact, full body stretch that will help them improve stiffness, chronic pain and reduce stress. The benefits of stretching include improved flexibility and mobility, improved posture and for many, reduced back pain. Athletes, golfers and yoga enthusiasts greatly benefit from stretching.”

“We work with clients in 25 and 50 minute 1-on-1 assisted stretch sessions anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week, depending on the needs and goals of our clients. All ages from student-athletes to senior citizens benefit from a full-body professional stretch that can not be done alone.” Brissette adds.

Safety at StretchMed is a priority for everyone.

  • All of our Stretch Therapists/staff members wear masks at all times & gloves during the stretches. ?
  • We've installed a REME HALO Air Purification System that removes 99% of viruses, bacteria and mold from the air. It is the most popular system used in hospitals, cruise ships and packing plants. ?
  • We take each individual's temperatures upon entrance and have a hand sanitizer station right inside our front door.
