DLA Piper Advises Landlord on Stadium Tower Lease Agreement


DLA Piper represented the landlord in the negotiation of a lease agreement with the Chicago School of Professional Psychology for the 12th floor of Stadium Tower in Anaheim, California. The school will occupy the entire floor, comprising 22,759 square feet of office space that is slated to be ready for students in 2021.

Stadium Tower is a Class A office building located at 2400 East Katella Avenue in the Platinum Triangle neighborhood of Anaheim, close to the city’s best-known sports stadiums, music venues, theme parks, eateries, breweries and more. The landlord is a public pension fund with over US$200 billion in assets and is advised by the international investment management company CBRE Global Investors.

“The Chicago School of Professional Psychology chose this space due to its superb location within minutes of the confluence of the 57/5/22 Freeways and with walkway access to the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center, including Amtrak and Metro Link," said Rick Warner, senior vice president of CBRE Inc., a commercial real estate services firm that handles the building’s management and leasing. “This amazing project is also at the epicenter of the expansions of the Honda Center and Anaheim Stadium, which will include the addition of millions of square feet of hotels, offices, restaurants, housing and world-class entertainment.
