Peabody Properties Announces Winners of New England Affordable Housing Management Association Poster Contest

Full-service real estate and property management firm Peabody Properties is proud to announce that seven entrants in this year’s New England Affordable Housing Management Association (NEAHMA) Poster Contest were selected for submission into the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) national contest, with Linwood Mill resident Jean Mistretta taking an Honorable Mention in the Elderly Category nationwide.

The annual contest, this year with the theme “My Voice Will Be Heard: Speaking the Language of Love” is open to children, elderly or special needs residents living in a NAHMA community.

An impressive seven posters entered by Peabody Properties’ residents were named Regional Winners; their art works moved on to the NAHMA national competition held in Washington, D.C. for a chance to be featured in the 2021 NAHMA calendar.

The Peabody Properties, Inc. winning entrants in NEAHMA were:

Youth, K-9th Grade Category
K-1: 1st Place Joshita Bachu – Braintree Village Apartments
Grade 2-3: 1st Place Danielle Wilkins – Braintree Village Apartments
Grade 7-9: 1st Place Preeti Bachu – Braintree Village Apartments

Elderly Category1st Place Maura Sawyer – Framingham Green

2nd Place Jean Mistretta - Linwood Mill and Honorable Mention at NAHMA
3rd Place Robert Williams – Bedford Green

Honorable Mention James Bancroft – Bedford Green

All above residents will be recognized at the annual NEAHMA conference in October. Jean Mistretta will have her artwork featured nationally in a special section of the NAHMA 2021 Drug-Free Kids calendar along with other national winners.
