New Kenmore Square location shut down days after grand opening
Just days after Peak Image Med Spa ( www.peakimagemedspa.com) celebrated the opening of their newest location in the Vansanity medical facility at 500 Commonwealth Avenue in Boston with a ribbon-cutting on March 7, both this and their Braintree location shut down in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Throughout the closure, Peak Image Med Spa launched an online shop, located at www.peakimagemedspa.com/shop. Both locations are now planning to reopen within days with new safety guidelines in place.
Founded by Jack Pilon and Patrice Rusu, RN, CLT, CLO, Peak Image Med Spa offers a range of services including Botox®, Dysport®, dermal facial fillers, hydrafacials, SkinMedica Illuminize Peel®, VI Precision Plus Peel®, Kybella®, sclerotherapy (spider vein removal), photo facials, HALOTM Fractional Laser, and SkinTyte. They are focused on promoting a collaborative treatment plan between the provider and the client to achieve a realistic aesthetic outcome.
The new Commonwealth Avenue location in the Vansanity medical facility joins the original location, at 140 Wood Road, Suite 407 in Braintree, Mass.
During the event, guests consulted with representatives from some of the top aesthetics companies to learn more about the latest in med spa procedures offered by Peak Image. Sponsors of the event include Ghost Tequila, Del Ara Salon, the North End’s premier salon, and Galderma, a medical product vendor that supplies Dysport®, Restylane®, and Sculptra to Peak Image Med Spa. Several raffles with huge giveaways were also offered.
Founded by Iggy Fanlo, who was present at the ribbon-cutting, Vansanity is the next iteration of shared office space developed specifically to serve the medical aesthetics community by offering treatment rooms and specialized equipment available on an hourly basis. The Vansanity model provides all the physical infrastructure needed for a provider to focus solely on servicing patients. The Kenmore Square space is the company’s first location.
