Donation from Boston Real Estate Management Firm Provides Basketball Program for City Youth

Advanced Property Management (APM), a Boston-based real estate management firm, provided a donation to the 2019 Boston Police Activities League (PAL) 3-on-3 “Balling it Up Tournament”. The tournament was held at the BCYF Vine Street Community Center in Roxbury and featured separate divisions for boys and girls of all ages. APM funded all aspects of the tournament, from uniforms and trophies to referee fees, to support the Boston PAL mission of fostering a culture of trust and respect between the community and Boston Police Department through programs that promote character development, improve educational outcomes and reduce crime.

Support from Advanced Property Management and other partners makes it possible for us to provide educational, social, cultural and athletic activities that keep kids engaged and on a positive path. This support ultimately improves the quality of life for everyone in the community.”

Originally known as the Boston Police Athletics League, the organization was rebranded as the Boston Police Activities League to better reflect the diversity of programs offered and to attract a broader range of youth. Boston PAL supports more than 6,500 youth each year, and has provided more than 9 million dollars in funding throughout its history to support BPD efforts around community policing.
