Swig Equities, is pleased to announce that its President, Kent M. Swig, spoke at the 2019 New York City Real Estate Expo, Thursday, October 24th at the Hilton Midtown.
The 11th annual NYC Real Estate Expo, the event brings together top commercial and residential real estate professionals for educational sessions, panel discussions, and industry networking. The sessions and panels offer reflections on the state and future market, need-to-know trends, and advice for implementing new technologies and strategies.
Mr. Swig was featured on the panel, “The Technological Revolution that is changing the face of Real Estate in New York.” The panel focused on how it is now each firm’s major responsibility to upgrade their technology to stay ahead of the fray in commercial and residential real estate as consumers, specifically millennials, are demanding change.
“Technology is a fact. It’s not something that is on its way, it’s here. But it is incumbent on the user,” said Mr. Swig during the session. “While technology enables real estate agents to do more efficient and accurate work, the end result still takes interpersonal skills. Consumers respond to how information is presented.”
Kent M. Swig is a President of Swig Equities, LLC, a privately owned real estate investment and development company. Since 2001, Swig Equities has purchased and/or is in the process of developing more than $3 billion of properties, including holdings in Downtown Manhattan’s Financial District (FiDi).
