Starry Internet Opened an Office in Arlington

Boston-based Starry Internet, a new internet service provider deploying fixed wireless broadband, announced that it has expanded to Arlington, Virginia, with a new office space. The company’s 8,300-square-foot Virginia office is owned by Rooney Properties, and is located in the Clarendon neighborhood.

Starry launched in 2016 and first expanded to the area when it started servicing D.C. neighborhoods Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Dupont Circle, Logan Circle, Mount Vernon Triangle, NoMa and Penn Quarter last year. In Virginia, the company currently services the Courthouse, Rosslyn, Clarendon and Ballston areas.

“Starry is at a pivotal moment of growth and expansion in the DC-metro area. Putting down roots in Arlington means we’re better able to support our rapid growth and meet the voracious local demand for competitive, high-quality internet service,” Starry COO Alex Moulle-Berteaux said in a press release. “People crave choice and affordability. They also want to be treated well. Starry delivers on all three.”
