Hobbs Brook Management LLC, a commercial property management and development firm specializing in leasing, construction and development of Class A office space, has named Samuel M. Schaefer as president and chief executive officer, effective September 3^rd.

Schaefer was most recently managing director, global head of property management, leasing and corporate outreach at Tishman Speyer in Boston, a leading owner, developer, operator and fund manager of real estate around the world. He joined Tishman Speyer in 2001 as a property manager and leasing agent. He became a managing director of the company in 2013, holding various roles of increasing responsibility.

Earlier in his career, Schaefer worked in the Chicago area for the John Buck Company, a real estate services company and prior to that with Heitman LLC, a real estate investment management firm.

Mr. Schaefer holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and government from DePauw University, Greencastle, Indiana, USA.
