Christina Cesar recognized for efforts for second consecutive year

For the second year in a row, Peabody Properties, a full-service real estate and property management firm, is pleased to announce that Christina Cesar, a resident of Irving Square Apartments (a Peabody Properties community) in Framingham, is the recipient of a $2,500 scholarship from the National Affordable Housing Management Association (NAHMA) Educational Foundation.
Cesar, who attends Framingham State University, is one of five Peabody Properties, Inc. residents to receive a NAHMA scholarship. Other winners include Aubrey Gagne, a resident of Bixby Apartments and student at University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Charlesview Apartments residents Noon Elhassan, Winnie Mei, and Kothar Hussein.
Eligibility for the scholarship program, now in its 13th consecutive year, requires applicants to be a resident in good standing at an Affordable Housing Management Association-affiliated multifamily community and be either a high school senior with a minimum 2.5 GPA or a matriculated student with a minimum 2.3 GPA at an accredited community college, college, university or trade/technical school.
The process requires applicants to complete an online application form, provide two references, write an essay, submit a current grade transcript and deliver a certification of residency in good standing form.
Throughout the 13-year history of the program, more than $1,250,000 worth of scholarships have been provided to accomplished student residents.
