Hunneman announces today the addition of Peter Farnum to the brokerage team as Executive Vice President and Principal. Peter joins Hunneman with over thirty years of commercial real estate experience with a focus in Boston’s Back Bay and Financial District areas.

Prior to joining Hunneman, Peter was an Executive Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield and an Executive Vice President/Principal with the Trammell Crow Company.Additionally, Peter was a founding partner of FHO Partners, which was then acquired by Cassidy Turley and eventually the successful acquisition led by private equity shop TPG and industry peer DTZ. During Peter’s seasoned career in commercial real estate, he has experience with national and international representation of companies and organizations such as: AARP, Bank of America, Wachovia, KeyBank, Outstart, Choate Hall & Stewart and Applied Insurance Research.Some of Peter’s recent notable deals include the GBREB renewal at 1 Center Plaza, Anchor Capital’s relocation to 2 International Place, and Winn Companies’ relocation to One Washington.

Peter has a B.A. in Political Science and Government from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a certificate from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Center for Real Estate Continuing Education. Additionally, Peter is a past president of the Commercial Brokers Association and an active member of the alumnae associations for University Massachusetts Amherst and Proctor Academy.
