Abdo, Toran and Waldman double office space for the global real estate development firm with new 8,455-square-foot lease at 152 West 57th Street
Corey Abdo, Executive Managing Director/Principal, David Toran, Managing Director and Ari Waldman, Director of Lee & Associates NYC have negotiated a 10-year, 8,455-square-foot lease for the entire 45th floor at 152 West 57th Street for Naftali Group, a privately held global real estate development and investment firm. The company is relocating from 1700 Broadway, between West 53rd and West 54th Streets, where their office was housed in 4,500 square feet of space. Their new building at 152 West 57th Street, also known as Carnegie Hall Tower, is the famed tower located between Sixth and Seventh Avenues.
Known primarily for luxury residential condominium development, Naftali Group also boasts standout projects in Singapore and Beverly Hills. The firm is recognized as a leading developer with a current and past portfolio comprised of more than 30 projects encompassing more than $9 billion in total value.
“Naftali Group’s rapid growth necessitated a larger office space, and as major players in the business of real estate, the team looked at over 30 spaces before settling on Carnegie Hall Tower,” points out Mr. Abdo, whose leasing team represented the tenant. “Their new office allows them to stay centrally located in Midtown, in close proximity to many of their New York City projects.”
The property owner, TF Cornerstone, was represented by Matt Leon of Newmark Knight Frank. Naftali Group will take occupancy on the 45th floor on May 1, 2019.
