Patrick Buckley Joins Avison Young in Boston

Michael Smith, Avison Young Principal and Managing Director of the firm’s New England region, announced today that commercial real estate industry veteran Patrick Buckley has joined the firm in Boston.

Effective immediately, Buckley becomes a Principal of Avison Young and will focus ontenant and landlord representation in the Boston office market. He bringsmore than15years of commercial real estate experience in Greater Boston to Avison Young, most recently as a Senior Vice-President with CBRE.

During his career,Buckley has represented such notable clients as Bankers Life & Casualty;Santander; Delaware North; Rhythm Pharmaceuticals; Flywire, Ziopharm;Beacon Capital; Brookfield Office Properties; Rockpoint Group;Jumbo Capital; andBerkeley Investments, among others.

Buckley began his real estate career in 2003 at Colliers where he was a Vice-President for seven years. He then joined Richards Barry Joyce & Partners, which was later acquired by Transwestern where he was a Senior Vice-President until the local office was acquired by CBRE in early 2018.

Buckleyis active in the industry as a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board’s Commercial Brokers Association. In the community, he sits on the Sudbury Lacrosse board and, for the past eight years, has served on the board of Bridge Over Troubled Waters, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing life-changing solutions for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth.

Buckley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from Villanova University, where he captained the men’s lacrosse team.
