Quincy Memorials, a leading provider of enduring monuments, today announced the opening of a new location, in the Town of Abington.
Bryan Poirier, whose family has owned Quincy Memorials since 1979 and who is a Manager at the company, said that Quincy Memorials will open its doors at 538 Bedford Street, Route 18, in Abington on October 15. The property contains both indoor office space and an expansive outside display area, similar to their other locations in Quincy and Kingston, MA. It also houses the company’s exclusive inventory of Rose Quartz.
Poirier said that the relocation to Abington is to accommodate the needs of their growing customer base. “Abington is central to our market area,” he said, noting that many of their customers are from the central South Shore area. “We now offer three convenient locations for people to choose from,” he said.
Poirier is a resident of Abington and said, “Our family has strong ties to this area. We are pleased to become a contributing business to this community and we look forward to the association.”
Quincy Memorials has been doing work all over the town for years. They erected the War and Vet Memorials at the Frolio School, manufactured and installed plaques at the John Reilly Field, Donated the Pickleball Donor Plaque at the Abington Senior Center and will be producing the 9/11 Memorial set to be placed at the Police Station.
For the Grand Opening on October 15, please stop by between 10 a.m. and 3 a.m. to welcome Quincy Memorials and to see that they offer more than just memorials. There will also be refreshments served.
Also as a part of their Grand Opening, Quincy Memorials will partner with Quealy Funeral Home and St. Bridget’s Parish both of Abington and will clean headstones at St. Patrick Cemetery in Rockland, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on October 22. During this four-hour time, Quincy Memorials expects to be able to clean between 20 and 25 monuments.
