More than 100 committed and prospective buyers flocked to Elliott Landing, the new luxury condominiums at Beverly’s Cummings Center, for previews of the model homes that opened for viewing Sunday.

According to Liz Speranzella, vice president of StreamLine Communities, the marketing agent for Elliott Landing, the model home grand opening started at 11:00 a.m. and was slated to end at 4:00 p.m.

“The response was overwhelming. We were still talking with prospective buyers at 6:00 p.m.,” said Speranzella. “Interest has been strong all along as Elliott Landing is unlike any new development on the North Shore, but now that people can actually tour a completed home, we are seeing a whole new group of interested buyers.”

More than one-third of the 73 one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes have been sold, with the first group of owners slated to move in next month.Residences range in size from 1,000 square feet to 2,400 square feet, with penthouse and tower suites available. Many units feature fireplaces and bonus rooms to be used as an office or den.

Building amenities include a fitness room, an open-air landscaped courtyard with a fire pit and grilling area, bike and kayak storage, garage parking, and the Essex Function Room, which has a fully equipped chef’s kitchen.

“In addition to the amenities in the building and on campus, residents can walk, run, or bike the tree-lined paths that circle Shoe Pond, and enjoy all that downtown Beverly and the surrounding area has to offer,” said Speranzella.

The models show both the contemporary and classic finishes that are available, as well as some of theupscale features of the residences, which include quartz-topped kitchen islands with under-mount sinks, “spa-like” baths with soaking tubs and oversized frameless glass shower enclosures, and expansive commercial-grade windows, some offering views of the Bass River. All units include GE kitchen appliances and in-suite washers and dryers, with upgrades available.

Model homes are now open daily, except Tuesdays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, or to schedule a personal preview, visit ElliottLanding.com.
