BayCoast Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Carlos Viana of Fall River, Massachusetts, to Vice President, Security.
In this role, he is responsible for security throughout the bank and its affiliates, including camera systems, fire alarms, perimeter and access control systems. His duties further encompass fraud management and development of all policies and procedures related to the bank’s security protocols and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Viana, whose previous title was Assistant Vice President, Security, joined the BayCoast Bank Security Department in January of 2011.
A graduate of Roger Williams University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, he is also a graduate of the Massachusetts School for Financial Studies, has completed course work on fraud and larceny prevention protocols at Massasoit Community College and has participated in educational and security related training programs facilitated by the Massachusetts Bankers Association.
A resident of Fall River, Massachusetts, Viana is a past president of the Lions Club of Fall River.
