Lovepop Appoints Ted Smetana as Chief Merchandising Officer

Lovepop, leading designer of magical pop-up cards and gifts, announces today the appointment of Ted Smetana as Chief Merchandising Officer, effective January 11, 2021.

In this newly created role, Ted will serve as a member of the company's executive team, leading Lovepop's brick-and-mortar retail partner expansion, consumer insights, product line planning, licensed partnerships, and inventory and sales planning.

With more than 25 years of retail and merchandising experience, Ted was most recently a merchandising executive at Target Corporation. During his 17-year tenure at Target, he was responsible for merchandising across a wide array of categories, as well as the advancement of the company's merchandising operating practices, insights capabilities, and technologies to improve the speed and quality of decision-making.
