IREM’s Boston Metropolitan Chapter Honors David Barrett with Lifetime Achievement Award

The Institute of Real Estate Management® (IREM®) Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 is proud to announce that the organization recently honored David Barrett, CPM®, ARM® with the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award. Barrett was presented with the award during a virtual ceremony held by the organization on December 2.

Barrett, the president of Clifton Management Co. Inc. and RCM Services, Inc., based in Allston, Massachusetts, has been involved with IREM for 20 years. He served as the 2014 President of the IREM Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4, and he currently serves on the Legislative and Public Policy Committee. Additionally, Barrett currently serves as the IREM Regional Vice President, and on the 2021 IREM Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 Board of Directors.

Barrett has been a management executive in the Boston area for over 20 years. He holds an Unrestricted Constriction Supervisor License, Oil Burner Technician License, Home Improvement Contractor License, and Hoisting Equipment Operator License for the State of Massachusetts, as well as OSHA 10 and 30 certificates. Barrett is a Certified Pool Operator, Certified Lead Renovator, and has obtained dozens of trade certificates from technical institutes as well as holding management designations from both IREM and the Community Association Institute (CAI).

A resident of Salem, New Hampshire, Barrett also frequently shares lessons and best practices learned from his years of experience. He has written several articles for New England Real Estate Journal, Condo Media, and Condo Management Magazine. Additionally, he has been interviewed numerous times for New England Condominium magazine.
