BayCoast Bank is pleased to announce Sonia T. Couto of Swansea, Massachusetts, as Assistant Treasurer, Branch Manager.

In this role, she is at the forefront of customer interactions as part of a branch-based team that provides high quality service to earn the long-term loyalty of customers. Couto will manage BayCoast Bank’s new Bristol, Rhode Island branch upon its opening.

Couto joins BayCoast Bank with 15 years in the financial services industry, most recently as a Branch Manager with Santander Bank.

A graduate of New England Technical Institute with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Couto also attended Loughborough College and Cambridge University in England.

Couto, who is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish, lives in Swansea, Massachusetts. She is a soloist with Our Lady of Light Band in Fall River.
