BayCoast Bank is pleased to announce Matthew J. Payette of Dartmouth, Massachusetts, as a Vice President/Regional Manager.

In this role, he directs branch efforts to meet customers’ financial needs, execute strategies to fulfill the Bank’s overall strategic plan and is responsible for coaching, training, developing and supporting his staff. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with operating policies and procedures while maintaining high customer and employee satisfaction.

Payette joins BayCoast Bank with 35 years of experience in the banking industry, most recently with Santander in New Bedford. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Dartmouth with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Payette is a Notary Public in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and holds a Series 7 License – FINRA.

He is an active volunteer with My Brother’s Keeper in Dartmouth, a former chairperson of the annual John C. O’Brien Scholarship Golf Tournament to benefit deserving Bishop Stang High School students and is a Eucharistic Minister at St. Julie Billiart Church in Dartmouth.
